SPD Congratulates Officer Joseph Lech on his Retirement

Springfield, Mass. — On behalf of the Springfield Police Department, Superintendent Lawrence E. Akers would like to congratulate Officer Joseph Lech on his retirement.  Officer Lech served the city of Springfield for more than 32 years before retiring on Friday.  Officer Lech served in the uniform division, mounted patrol and as a firearms instructor for the Springfield Police Academy.    

We thank him for his service and wish him a happy and healthy retirement!
