 Superintendent Akers Recognizes Officer Elvin Andino for Serving our Community

Springfield, Mass. --- Springfield Police Superintendent Lawrence E. Akers would like to publicly recognize Officer Elvin Andino for serving the public in a manner that shines a positive light on our department. 

A visitor to the city was involved in a car crash and emailed Superintendent Akers to thank the responding Officer.  In part it reads, “Officer Andino helped me after my car was rear-ended.  He was very professional and helpful.  I just want to let his (Supervisor) know how great he is!”
