Superintendent Akers Recognizes Officers Nishawn Jones and Joshua Rivera for Serving our Community
Springfield, Mass. --- Springfield Police Superintendent Lawrence E. Akers would like to publicly recognize Officers Nishawn Jones and Joshua Rivera for serving the public in a manner that shines a positive light on our department.
The Superintendent received a call from a resident of Grayson Drive complimenting the officers on the “fabulous job they did.” Officers responded to her home on August 8th around 6:30 a.m. for a well-being-check. The resident stated, “After a stressful situation, by the time these officers had left her home, she was calm and confident. The resident wanted to let these officers supervisors know of the wonderful job they did.
