SPD FIU Investigation Leads to Seizure of Illegal Firearm, Trafficking Weight of Cocaine, Fentanyl and Six Arrests
Springfield, Mass. — On Monday September 1st at approximately 6:05 a.m., members of the Springfield Police Firearms Investigation Unit (FIU) under the direction of Lieutenant Jaime Bruno, members of the Hampden County Sheriff's Department and United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested six suspects after executing a search warrant on the 0-100 block of Lowell Street.
Over the past several months, Detectives have been investigating William Semidey for the illegal distribution of drugs from his home on Lowell Street. Detectives applied for and were granted a search warrant for his home, which they executed Monday morning.
Detectives detained five adults and a 16-year-old male. Two small children were also inside the home.
During a search of the home, Detectives recovered approximately 258 grams of cocaine, 387 bags of fentanyl, $8512 in cash, a loaded firearm and additional ammunition. Detectives arrested William Semidey, Jennifer Plumey, Jordan Montalvo, Justin Semidey, Oscar Carrasco and the 16-year-old juvenile.

- Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
- Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card - Subsequent Offense
- Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
- Improper Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
- Reckless Endangerment of a Child (Two Counts)
- Possession of a Firearm with Three Prior Violent/Drug Crimes
40-year-old Jennifer Plumey of Springfield is charged with:
- Cocaine Trafficking 200+ Grams
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Class A Drug
- Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
- Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
- Improper Storage of a Firearm
- Reckless Endangerment of a Child (Two Counts)
20-year-old Jordan Montalvo of Springfield is charged with:
- Cocaine Trafficking 200+ Grams
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Class A Drug
- Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
- Carrying a Firearm without a License
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
- Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
- Improper Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
- Reckless Endangerment of a Child (Two Counts)
20-year-old Justin Semidey of West Hartford, Connecticut is charged with:
- Cocaine Trafficking 200+ Grams
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Class A Drug
- Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
- Carrying a Firearm without a License
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
- Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
- Improper Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
- Reckless Endangerment of a Child (Two Counts)
45-year-old Oscar Carrasco of Springfield is charged with:
- Cocaine Trafficking 200+ Grams
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Class A Drug
- Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
- Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card
- Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
- Improper Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
- Reckless Endangerment of a Child (Two Counts)
The name, charges and booking photo of the 16-year-old arrested will not be released due to his age.
