Center activities include:

  • Pokeno
  • Craft/Social
  • Line Dancing
  • Lunch at 12:00 PM (Noon) every Tuesday
  • Exercise Classes
  • Health screenings, including Blood Pressure Readings & proper Foot Care
  • Neighborhood Council Meetings & many social activities

This was 3/18/19, Folksinger & Storyteller, Tim Van Egmond….songs & stories for St. Patrick’s day.                              The program was supported in part by a grant from the Springfield Cultural Council.

Lunch through GSSSI in celebration of the Boston Red Sox home game opener.Each senior had the lyrics to “Take me out to the ball game”, I raffled off a $25.00 Big Y gift card, everyone received a small bag of cracker jack and lunch was, build your own hot dog with mustard, relish, diced onions, beef/bean chili, shredded cheese, baked beans & coleslaw.

The picture of all the woman are the actually Polish woman who were experimented on and brought to the USA for surgery, compliments of Caroline.

Caroline Ferriday was a remarkable woman, to say the least.  Humanitarian, Activist, Actress, to name a few.  The pictures of her house is exactly how it looked when she died in 1990, she bequeathed her home ( the Bellamy-Ferriday House) to the State of CT.

CW Resources is the company that provides our meals as well as the Home Delivered Meals.
