STORM DEBRIS REMOVAL
This information is for residents with municipal trash service.
The City of Springfield’s Department of Public Works (DPW) has indicated that Solid Waste Collection will not be impacted due to the storm.
DPW will collect yard waste on its usual schedule, as long as the debris meets the usual collection guidelines. Yard waste is collected curbside on recycling days from early Spring to late fall. Find the complete Yard Waste guidelines on the DPW webpage: https://www.springfield-ma.gov/dpw/yard-waste
Residents from Springfield can also bring yard and leaf waste to the Bondi's Island drop-off at no charge. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:15 PM. In addition, the drop-off is open during the fall leaf season on Saturdays from 7:00 am to 12:00 PM. Please call 787-7840 for more info.
