Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with Springfield Police Superintendent Lawrence E. Akers to honor dozens of Springfield Police Officers at the Department’s Awards Ceremony Thursday evening at Duggan Academy.
Mayor Sarno states, “Congratulations to our brave and dedicated women and men of the Springfield Police Department. I am honored and proud to join with Police Superintendent Larry Akers we celebrate, honor and acknowledge our officers for their dedicated efforts saving lives and keeping our community safe.
