Mayor Domenic J. Sarno extends his thanks to the Human Resources Team, as well as many vendors, as they host their annual Health and Wellness Resource Fair.
Different Vendors from all over the City came into City Hall to tell city employees about their different services to help finish out Public Health Month. Some vendors included; Springfield Libraries, Springfield Department of Health and Human Services, Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center Monson Savings, Wellpoint, HotWorx, Total Care EAP, Fresh Monkee, Community Bank, People’s Bank, and Bank ESB.
A highlight for many employees was Stimpy, the 3-month-old puppy from Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center.
Mayor Sarno states, “I would like to thank Attorney Bill Mahoney, who heads up the City’s Human Resources, Caitlyn Julius and team for putting on another morale boosting event. Thanks to all the vendors who came to share their resources with our City employees!”
