MassDOT will be holding a meeting on April 8, 2026 at 6:30 pm to provide an update on the status of the "X" reconstruction project.
The purpose of this meeting is to update the public on the status of the reconstruction of Sumner Avenue at the intersection of Dickinson Street and Belmont Avenue in Springfield. The project team will present on the project background, the schedule and construction phasing, opportunities for public involvement, and next steps. This event will include a formal presentation followed by an opportunity to ask questions and make comments. All comments will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.
