– Regular Pick-up on Veterans Day, No Bulk Collection on the weeks of 11/24 and 12/1 –
The City of Springfield’s Department of Public Works (DPW) Solid Waste Division has announced that there will be regular municipal trash, recycling and yard waste collection taking place on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2025. The Veterans Day Holiday will not impact the regular collection schedule. There will be no delay in service.
There will be NO bulk collection for the week of November 24, 2025, and for the week of December 1, 2025. This due to closing out the yard waste season with final collections.
