Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and family cheered on our beloved Springfield Thunderbirds as they take on the reigning Eastern Conference Champions, the Charlotte Checkers this Saturday, October 11, 2025 at their home ice at the MassMutual Center in downtown Springfield. This season marks the 10th season of the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Mayor Sarno states, “How bout them T-Birds! As a longtime season ticket holder, I am looking forward to cheering on our beloved Thunderbirds as they start off another season! Let’s pack the ‘Thunderdome’ and show our TBirds spirit!”
