A Follow-Up on ‘Mayor Sarno, Health & Human Services Commissioner Helen Caulton Harris, and PBRM Ashe Announce Golf Carts coming to Springfield's Municipal Golf Courses’

Here’s a very appreciative Mike Foster, a retired, disabled Springfield Police Officer, enjoying being able to play golf. Officer Foster brought this initiative to Mayor Sarno, Commissioner Helen Caulton Harris and Executive Directors of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management Tom Ashe’s attention.

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno states, “This picture is very heart warming. PBRM Ashe, and DHHS Commissioner Caulton Harris, the Springfield Lodge of the Elks #61 and I are proud that we were able to get this done for our disable patrons at our award-winning Veterans and Franconia Golf Courses. To my understanding we are the one of the very few golf courses to have this capability in the state.”
