For the first time ever, nationally televised WWE ® Monday Night Raw ® is coming to the MassMutual Center tonight, Monday, September 15, 2025, at 6:30 PM.
Mayor Sarno states, “We are thrilled to welcome World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to Springfield for their WWE Monday Night Raw show at the MassMutual Center tonight. There is excitement in the air downtown as we prepare for an action-packed evening. This event is extra-special as Springfield College grad/WWE legend John Cena is returning to Springfield for tonight's show on his “Last Time is Now” tour. I know 17-time WWE world champion John Cena plays the ‘heel’ these days, but his work outside of the ring with Make-A-Wish as the #1 Wish Granter in history is remarkable and something we are all proud to celebrate. We are thrilled to welcome John back to Springfield for this exciting stop on the tour. To celebrate and thank him for his boundless kindness, I bestowed to John a Key to the City. John – from wrestler, actor, ad-pitch man, and more importantly, Humanitarian – you are like ‘the Renaissance Man.’ On behalf of the City of Springfield, I commend you for your efforts to brighten the days of those truly in need.
