The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony featuring notable inductees will take place on September 6, 2025, in Springfield, MA. To compliment the red-carpet ceremony, White Lion continues its tradition and hosts several free events open to the public.
White Lion President, Ray Berry shared, “Springfield becomes home to an international audience and to compliment all the incredible energy and pride, White Lion will host several events with local partners and basketball aficionados. We offer a welcoming space for everyone to feel as if they are part of the Enshrinement festivities.”
Past events have featured local and regional NBA legends Travis Best, Dana Barros, and Marcus Camby, and a separate tribute to NBA Hall of Famer, Bill Walton. This year, White Lion will offer a diverse line up of entertainment on Friday and Saturday. Kicking off the series Friday evening is Diamond Blues a Grateful Dead Tribute Band. Pridelands, White Lion’s new outdoor event space, is the host location. Pridelands is situated in the heart of downtown Springfield at 1477 Main Street. The evening will then transition inside to the brewery for a Latin/Soul music event.
Saturday, the Basketball Hall of Fame’s Resident DJ will host a mid-evening party with CTRL the Narrative and Common Wealth Murals. CTRL the Narrative will give out free Carmelo Anthony swag; Common Wealth Murals will commission a live mural painting highlighting Carmelo Anthony’s accomplishments. The nightcap will feature local sensation MALADO Music.
All events and activity details can be found on White Lion’s social media platforms.

About CTRL the Narrative
We aren't just a merch brand, we're a community of hoopers, fans and storytellers who refuse to let lazy Narratives define the sport we love. What started in 2019 as a podcast bringing Carmelo Anthony's greatness to light has grown into a movement: documentaries, live events, streetwear, and now a platform where tens of thousands of fans gather to remember what real basketball feels like.
