Mayor Sarno Welcomes MassDevelopment President and CEO Attorney Navjeet Bal

Mayor Sarno states, “It was a pleasure to meet MassDevelopment’s new President and CEO Navjeet Bal today. She is very personable, smart, and has an extensive background and experience in both the public and private sectors which makes her very well suited to hit the ground running and meet the evolving needs MassDevelopment tackles that help our communities such as Springfield. My administration has a good working relationship with the incredible team at MassDevelopment. Under the leadership of my CDO Tim Sheehan, we have partnered with them to help enhance numerous projects and initiatives throughout the city. I am looking forward to working with her and continuing our great relationship with MassDevelopment as we look to continue to move our Springfield and the Commonwealth forward as we look to sustain and create more of that good four-letter word, Jobs!”
