The City of Springfield Department of Public Works (DPW) announced today that due to the services for Maureen Neal, residents/the travelling public should expect traffic disruption/road closures on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the area of the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Funeral Home on Jefferson Street, Calhoun Street, Chestnut Street, Chapin Terrace, Marvin Street, and Pratt Street.
For the funeral services on Friday, March 28, 2025, residents/the travelling public should expect traffic disruptions/road closures in and around Sacred Heart Church on Chestnut Street, Stafford Street, Congress Street and Everett Street.
Springfield Police, the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department, and Massachusetts State Police will be present at both events.
