Blues to Green Mission

The event will help support Blues to Green, an organization inspired by the life and music of Charles Neville, the saxophonist brother of the Neville Brothers band from New Orleans. Through music and the arts, we celebrate the cultures of the African diaspora, foster multicultural community, and empower action for positive change in Springfield, MA, and beyond.

Our mission focuses on providing free, high-quality arts programs to communities with limited access while promoting cultural and economic revitalization. From the Springfield Jazz & Roots Festival to the Legacy Education Project and Arts for Racial & Climate Justice, our initiatives bring people together, engage them in vital causes, and strengthen the heart of Springfield.

By attending Fat Tuesday Jazz Night, you’re helping us continue this important work while enjoying a night of incredible music, delicious Creole/Cajun cuisine, and joyful connection.
