Mayor Sarno states, “Congratulations to Dress for Success Western Massachusetts on their new Career Center. We are thrilled to have Dress for Success downtown after a successful relocation from the Eastfield Mall. The Dress for Success headquarters and now Career Center are conveniently located in downtown Springfield right near Union Station on Lyman Street. This space looks amazing and I want to commend and thank Jess Roncarati-Howe and team on transforming this space into a beautiful and meaningful resource. Also, shout out to Eliana Gutierrez (Legislative Aide to State Representative Gonzalez) for sharing her inspiring story with us today of changing careers with some help from Dress for Success. You simply cannot put a price tag on the investment they put into the human spirit.”
“My administration is proud to have supported our local Dress for Success with American Rescue Plan Act nonprofit assistance during our seventh Round of ARPA awards as DFSWM continues to transform the lives of women in Western Massachusetts with specialized help to get them on a positive path forward toward economic independence. The newly constructed office spaces, program areas, and boutique space will help provide support, professional attire and the development tools to women in need in our community.”
