Springfield, Massachusetts—Celebrate all of the holiday nights at Bright Nights at Forest Park. The lights came on for the 30th season on November 27, 2024, and they will continue to glow through January 5, 2025. This includes Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Night.
On the holidays, Bright Nights at Forest Park will be open from 5pm to 9pm. Santa will be in greeting guests in his Magical Forest through December 24th, but he will be leaving a little early to start is midnight deliveries. On December 31st, children will receive a free ticket for the carousel or teacup ride, and get a New Year’s Eve hat, noisemaker, or lei at the Gift Shop.
“Holiday trips have become tradition for many families,” said Spirit of Springfield President and Bright Nights Co-Founder Judy Matt. “They come in pajama’s, or special holiday attire. They enjoy the magic of the holiday lights, and then return home to continue their festivities.”
Admission to enjoy the more than 750,000 lights along the three-mile drive is $23 per car plus a $2 ticket fee. Discounted admission tickets are available at Big Y Family Markets for $18 per car.
