Recently, Andrew Doty, Chief Information Officer for the City of Springfield, was selected to represent the City of Springfield’s use of security technology at a conference in Boston.
Director Doty has worked for the past 37+ years in Information Technology with a laser focus on business needs assessment, interoperation, continuous improvement and project management. His presentation at the conference focused on the design and implementation of the city’s Security Operation’s centers and the role Information Technology (IT) played in the standup of those centers.
The event, hosted by a technology provider Axis Communications, attracted attendees from the industry as well as major companies in industry, entertainment and information technology. The City of Springfield and CIO Doty were selected due to our forward and progressive thinking in the use of technology. The host, Axis Communications, has a mission to bring large progressive companies together to collaborate on the types and uses of those technologies.
