Mayor Domenic J. Sarno was happy to join with the Balliet Preschool community on Monday evening for their fall Open House event at the school. Mayor Sarno joined Balliet Preschool Principal Jessica McClosky and School Counselor Michelle Cahillane along with students, families, and staff as Balliet held their open house event.
Students were excited to be at school with their families and share what they are learning. They also had an opportunity to get their faces painted and visit with the school mascot. The Balliet Students thanked Mayor Sarno for coming with a heartwarming card.
Mayor Sarno states, “I deeply appreciate Balliet Preschool Principal Jessica McClosky and School Counselor Michelle Cahillane for welcoming me to Balliet for Open House last evening. Thank you also to the students for the touching hand-made thank you card. It was great to see our young students having fun and so many parents and families coming together to be the best the support systems they can be for their young learners. The kids were so excited to show off their classrooms and interreact with their teachers and learning environment. Thank you to the Balliet School community, you all are doing such a fantastic job working hard to learn and taking good care of your school.”
