Mayor Domenic J. Sarno attended and brought greetings at the Inaugural Age of Excellence Awards, presented by Glenmeadow on Wednesday evening at the Barney Carriage House in Forest Park. The eight honorees were Dedicated Leader - Beyond the Badge: Springfield Police Superintendent Lawrence Akers; Champion of Community Voices: Debbie Gardner; Impactful Entrepreneur: Jeffrey Greim; Dynamic Difference Maker: Ethel Griffin; Game-Changing Mentor: James Lagodich; Inspiring Changemaker: Maria Roy; Dedicated Community Connector: Karen Tetreault; Honorary Age of Excellence Award Recipient Patrick Sullivan.
