Mayor Sarno states, “Monson Savings Bank has been a good corporate citizen with the City of Springfield. Monson Savings Bank has been one of the supporters and partners of our Buy Springfield Now Program, helping Springfield residents with their closing cost when purchasing a home through the program. Also, they have assisted various Springfield based businesses and nonprofits to further their missions and goals. My Administration is looking forward to continuing to work together on their community outreach efforts and initiatives. I am also looking forward to celebrating and acknowledging their 150 anniversary next year too.”

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno meet with newly elected President and CEO of Monson Savings Bank Daniel Moriarty today to discuss the Banks continued support and investment in the City of Springfield. Discussions also included plans on celebrating and acknowledging Monson Savings Bank’s upcoming 150 Anniversary. Chief of Staff Tom Ashe and Anna Calvanese, Executive Assistant to President Moriarty, also attended the meeting.
