Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Mayoral Aide Lavar “Coach” Click joined today with Bill Bullock, owner of Western Mass Zombies Basketball team, and his son Nicholas, as well as South End Community Center Executive Director Wesley Jackson to congratulate the Zombies players and coaches on winning their first ever East Coast Basketball League (ECBL) Mid-Atlantic Basketball Title.
Mayor Sarno stated, “Congratulations to our Western Mass Zombies on winning their first ever Mid-Atlantic Basketball title. They had the best record in the regular season and finished it by defeating the Hub City Hogs in a classic battle for the title. Congratulations to Zombies guard Tylon Smith on receiving the Mid-Atlantic MVP Award, and also good luck to Terrance Thompson who will compete in the league's upcoming All Star Three Point Contest. Here’s to many more title games and awards for our Zombies!”
