Mayor Sarno Joins with the D.A.R. to Acknowledge Constitution Week

Mayor Sarno joined with the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) to acknowledge and celebrate Constitution Week. Constitution Week is an observance to commemorate the adoption of the United States Constitution. Mayor Sarno presented a proclamation declaring the week of September 17, 2020 as Constitution Week in the City of Springfield.

Mayor Sarno stated, “It is always a pleasure to join with my friend and Ms. D.A.R. herself, Holly Stone Blair.  Thank you to all of the lovely ladies from the D.A.R. for keeping this tradition of celebrating Constitution Week going, evening as we continue to work together to defeat this COVID-19 Coronavirus.  God Bless America and God Bless our City of Springfield.
