Mayor Sarno stated, "This has been a very challenging and sensitive time in our Country, our State, and our City in dealing with the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic and social unrest. I am about the humanity of these issues, not the ‘extreme politics’ of it. In turn, it is not a cardinal sin to support both our Police and yes Black Lives do matter. More than ever, now we must continue to work together to show unity, mutual respect and understanding. Where some look to divide us – my goal will always be to unite us.
