WHO: Springfield, MA - On Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Patrick Sullivan, Director of Parks presented a proclamation to good Samaritan Jeff Litchfield in recognition of the brave and heroic act committed on Friday November 13th in which the city employee saved the life of an 87 year old city resident who crashed into one of the pumps at the O’Connell’s Convenience Plus shell in Springfield.
Mayor Sarno stated that he commends Mr. Litchfield for his “courageous actions of helping someone in need and going the extra mile to bring them to safety.”
