Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined in New England Public Radio’s groundbreaking ceremony at 1525 Main Street. NEPR relocating to Downtown Springfield is another initiative in establishing stronger ties between the City of Springfield and UMASS Amherst. By this time next year NEPR expects to have 30 employees working Downtown at their new location. 1525 Main Street will be home to both NEPR stations: WFCR FM and WNNZ AM.
