Description:
The sidewalk construction is comprised of 2 parts.

  • As a result of school redistricting, five (5) miles of sidewalk will be constructed at an approximate cost of $1,200,000.
  • Replacement of existing sidewalks through the sidewalk application process. Residents apply through the DPW to have existing public sidewalk replacement. Approx. cost: $400,000.

Project Status as of August 15, 2007:

The school sidewalk construction component is complete. Bradley Road, Plumtree Road, Parker Street, Grayson Drive, and Oak Street (Indian Orchard).

The residential sidewalk replacement program continues through the end of October.
