Description:
The sidewalk construction was comprised of 2 parts.

  • As a result of school redistricting, five (5) miles of sidewalk will be constructed at an approximate cost of $1,200,000.
  • Replacement of existing sidewalks through the sidewalk application process. Residents apply through the DPW to have existing public sidewalk replacement. Approximate cost: $400,000.

Project Status as of June 1, 2009:

The school sidewalk construction component is complete. Bradley Road, Plumtree Road, Parker Street, Grayson Drive, and Oak Street (Indian Orchard).

The residential sidewalk replacement program is 99% complete ith only minor work remaining.
