Description:
The Federal Building is located in the heart of the Central Business District. Constructed in 1981, it contains five floors and 152,000 usable square feet. MassDevelopment is currently finalizing a plan to purchase the building from the General Services Administration.

Project Status:
It was announced in May, 2009 that the Springfield School Department and Baystate Health were both planning to lease space in the building once MassDevelopment completes the purchase.
