Description: Environmental remediation and demolition of the former Chapman Valve/Crane foundry.

Parcel size: 13 acre site
Building Size: Approximately 138,000 square feet
Zoning: Industrial Park

Project Status:
Associated Building Wreckers, Inc of Springfield was the Contractor for the demolition of the foundry structure with a low bid of $908,240.

Demolition and remediation work has been completed on that structure.

The Pinevale Street remediation and demolition project is also complete. Currently the city is seeking authorization to remove the slab and do subsurface testing.
