South End Revitalization Coalition

Project Boundaries: The South End neighborhood with a particular focus on the Hollywood area and the former Gemini site.

Background:

In March, 2007 the Boston Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Technical Advisory Panel (TAP), conducted a series of meetings and investigations in the South End neighborhood with a particular emphasis on the Hollywood area and the former Gemini site. The result was a detailed report with their findings and strategies for revitalizing the neighborhood.

Community stakeholders from the South End have begun gathering regularly in a series of South End Revitalization Coalition meetings and neighborhood community meetings to establish short and long term economic development goals.
