Rita Coppola-Wallace
Capital Asset Construction Director, 2007 – Present
Ms. Coppola-Wallace has over 24 years experience in the Project Management field. During her time with the City she has served in the capacity of Senior Park Planner, Contract Administrator, Director of Parks and Architectural Services and currently as Director of Capital Asset Construction. Ms. Coppola-Wallace secured approximately 30 million dollars in grant funding from the State and Federal Governments in addition to administering all capital construction projects associated with this funding. Ms. Coppola-Wallace was charged with the oversight of design and construction of all 37 of the City’s parks, including two golf courses.
Ms. Coppola-Wallace received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Biology and Environmental Sciences from the University of Jacksonville, Florida. She holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License and is currently enrolled in the Project Management Certificate Course aligned with the Project Management Institute at Holyoke Community College and the Architectural Technology Program at Springfield Technical Community College.
