About Housing Inspectional Services

The Housing Inspectional Services Division is responsible for enforcing the Massachusetts State Sanitary Code, Minimum Standards for Human Habitation and City of Springfield Ordinances that regulate and improve the quality of Springfield’s public and private housing stock.
