19-024 - RFP Management of Food Service Program at Raymond A. Jordan Senior Center

The City of Springfield is issuing this Request for Proposals to Food Service Management companies who have an interest to operate and manage its food service program at the Raymond A. Jordan Senior Center, specifically its luncheon program.

The City is interested in receiving proposals from companies that established the ability to successfully operate a program the approximate size, scope of senior center by identifying programs of similar (75 plus meals per day) size. The City hereby requests competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, § 6.

Site Visit
Proposers are responsible for examining the Senior Center facility no later than close of business August 27, 2018 at, 1476 Roosevelt Avenue, Springfield MA 01109 where the services are to be performed. Vendors who request any clarification of the RFP requirements may submit written questions via email to the CPO, Lauren Stabilo at lstabilo@springfieldcityhall.com by close of business Wednesday, August 27, 2018. All questions properly submitted to the City will be responded to no later than close of business on Monday, August 30, 2018 in the form of an addendum. Responses will be sent via an email and copied to all potential respondents that have requested a copy of this RFP through the Procurement Office.

The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. The CPO reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
