Invitation for Bids (IFB) Price Agreement for Rental of Portable Toilets

At which time the Proposals will be publically opened and read. IFB documents and specifications will be available beginning on October 13, 2016 in person at the Office of Procurement or through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com during normal business hour for no charge.

The City of Springfield, through its Department of Parks, Buildings & Recreation Management – Facilities Division is seeking bids from qualified vendors to enter into a price agreement for the rental of portable toilets. The toilets requested would be portable and include a hand sanitizer dispenser and toilet paper. This bid shall include replenishment of sanitizer that air dries, toilet paper, and a service cleaning on a weekly basis. From April to October the cleaning shall increase to twice a week. The toilet specifications are two include two different models: The standard model is to service individuals that would walk in and other being a wheelchair accessible compatible toilet.

The Estimated contract value is estimated to not exceed $100,000.00 per year. The term of the Contract shall be for One (1) year, with two (2) one-year in length renewal options to be exercised at the City’ sole discretion

Proposers must submit written questions seven (7) days prior to the IFB response deadline, or October 21, 2016. Questions may be faxed or emailed. The Office of Procurement fax number is (413) 787-6295.

All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.

No questions will be answered unless received by the Chief Procurement Officer at least 7 days prior to the expiration of the time set for submitting bids or proposals. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
