Message from the President

April 23, 2012

Dear Golden Age Members)

Our Big Bingo at Greenleaf was a big success. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the bakers that brought soooo many goodies to the Bake Sale.

A special thanks also to Marie Spedero from Mayflower, Marie Brackney, our secretary and Theresa Plasse from East Springfield and did a great job handling the Bake Sale.

The Bingo would not have been a success without Madeline Chabot from Brightwood, Eliana and Joanne from downtown. They did a wonderful job serving the food and setting up the tables etc.

Also a thank you to the many members that volunteered selling raffle tickets and helping with the Bingo verification.

The money we made from the Bingo is helping to defray the cost of our June 19th Picnic. so the cost for the Picnic is only $5.00.

Our trips are going well, please sign up soon by putting down a deposit or paying in full so you are guaranteed a seat on the bus.

See you soon

Dear Golden Age Members,

A big thanks to all of you who contributed so generously to the Animal Shelters. We Were able to collect $462.00, which we will split up between the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society shelter and the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center. We received thank you notes from both telling us how much they appreciated it.

You can see the notes below.
