Mayor Domenic J. Sarno will present a Mayoral Proclamation in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Springfield city employees will help raise money for breast cancer awareness by wearing pink and denim on Thursday, October 16, 2014. In its 21st year, Rays of Hope has raised millions of dollars to improve the breast health of people in our communities.
Rays of Hope provides funding to breast health programs at the Baystate Breast & Wellness Center as well as the breast cancer care programs at Baystate Franklin Medical Center, Baystate Mary Lane Hospital and several community organizations, including Cancer House of Hope and Cancer Connection.
