2014 DOG LICENSES NOW AVAILABLE IN
SPRINGFIELD CITY CLERKS OFFICE
March 24, 2014 - Springfield, MA - City Clerk Attorney Wayman Lee announced today that dog licenses for the year 2014 (April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015) are now available at the City Clerk Office, 36 Court Street, Room 123 or by going to the City’s website www.springfieldcityhall.com/cityclerk. The yearly registration period is from April 1 to March 31. The fees are $5 for sprayed or neutered dog and $25 for all other dogs and a late fee of $5 per month will be added for each dog not licensed on or before June 1 of each year. A current rabies vaccination is required and if you are registering by mail you must include a self-addressed stamped envelope. The city clerk’s office will also be posting a list of all registered and unregistered dogs for year 2013 (April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014) on the city’s website on or about July 1, 2014 based on information received from local veterinarian’s offices, he said.
