East Forest Park Book Group
Book lovers are always looking for suggestions for the next great story to read. On September 8th adults can join the new monthly book group at the East Forest Park Branch Library at 122 Island Pond Road, Springfield. The group will meet on the first Monday of each month from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., with new members welcome anytime. Instead of picking just one book to discuss, this group will feature a variety of titles and genres at each meeting. Members will have a chance to share their thoughts on books they've recently read.

The Club's "closer" is author Dan Gordon, who will share baseball stories from his new book, Haunted Baseball: Ghosts, Curses, Legends and Eerie Events. No tickets needed for this September 17th, 6:30 p.m. program at the Forest Park Branch Library Community Room, 380 Belmont Avenue, Springfield.
