2008 Elder Law Education Program

“Taking Control of Your Future”
A legal Check up

The Springfield Department of Elder Affairs invites you to the 2008 Elder Law Education Program on Tuesday May 27, 2007.  The event is free and will take place at the Greenleaf Community Center, 1187 ½ Parker Street, Springfield, MA and is set to begin at 10:30a.m.

Attorney Susan Mielnikowski will speak on a range of legal issues affecting senior’s lives as part of the Elder Law Program presented by the Massachusetts Bar Association.

            Some of the topics covered may include:

      • Asset Limitations
      • Special Rules for the Principal Residence
      • Trusts
      • Countable Assets and Jointly held Assets

 
Come into Greenleaf Community Center for this very informative Legal Check Up.  It’s FREE.  Park with ease, handicap accessible and refreshments will be served.
